Andrew retired in 2012 after a 48 year career in the City. Since the mid 70s Andrew has been responsible for managing investments both in the UK and overseas for a wide range of clients which have included personal portfolios,pension funds,smaller charity funds,Trusts and Isas etc. Initially Andrew worked for Quilter Goodison (now Quilter & Co), becoming a member of the Stock Exchange in 1983. Later that year Andrew moved to Buckmaster and Moore which became Credit Suisse after Big Bang in 1986. He moved to James Capel/HSBC in 1995. For the final 7 years of his career he was an Investment Director at Brewin Dolphin.
Andrew managed some clients for almost 40 years,managing 3 generations of some families.
After retirement Andrew served as a trustee for Kidney Research UK for 6 years .
